Continuing to extend the product range to meet customer needs, QMi recently unveiled its XL Commercial rolling shutter line to cover extra wide openings across a range of applications. The line allows for shutters to cover openings up to 30 feet.
This medium-protection security shutter can cover single large openings or multiple smaller openings. This line is ideal for many interior retail applications including:
- Counter Areas: XL shutters can secure cash registers, point-of-sale systems, pharmaceuticals, and other valuable items. Their wide coverage area and easy motorized operation provide a reliable deterrent to theft and make them easy for employees to use.
- Interior Openings: These shutters can create secure access points between different building areas. This is particularly important for high-value inventory where access control is needed.
- Storefronts: XL shutters can protect storefronts from forced-entry attacks. Installed internally, they can efficiently and safely cover extremely large storefronts. Their flexible installation approach ensures appealing aesthetics that complement the building’s architecture.
XL Commercial shutters leverage tubular motor operators, enabling a uniquely small and visually appealing finished housing. That housing enables rapid installation below ceilings, reducing costs and simplifying fieldwork and installation time.
XL shutters are available in white, clear anodized (silver), and custom color options. They are offered with either solid or perforated slats to meet store aesthetic needs.
