This new line offers three levels of protection:
- Level 1 System: Covers most security needs with its patented slat and rail design, the solution is ideal for majority of storefront applications.
- Level 2 System: Includes heavy-duty slats, enhanced retention and structural attachment methods, and optional autolocking base slats for high crime areas seeking extra security
- Level 3 System: Offers further enhancement with heavier-duty base slats for the largest spans. Other customized security options are also available.
For motorization over doors, QMI has developed an industry-first egressible tubular motor option for AL8. This small-housing, code-compliant egress system fits perfectly over doorways and discretely integrates an Emergency Release Device (ERD) to operate the shutter during power failure.
