Danny Head: When Hurricane Ivan hit our island we experienced a storm surge of about 20 feet and 140 mile an hour winds. I was fortunate enough to have flush shutters to protect my sliders and they were very effective. The storm damaged our property to the degree that we had to rebuild the building. We had such a good experience, those owners that had Roll-a-way doors, that we made the decision on rebuild, to completely install perimeter shutters, on each unit in the building. The shutters have been outstanding, they protect our lawn furniture, if we are not in residence we can let the shutters down. It’s a great product.
